





Fluminense Swallowtail Butterfly FPP Pattern
Parides ascanius, the Fluminense swallowtail, is a threatened Brazilian butterfly. I thank Pablo Cocito
for his photography skills photographing hundreds of butterflies for the Smithsonian National
Museum of Natural History. I want to acknowledge the deep wealth of knowledge gained from public

colors, a background color, black, white, pink, and red.
