Richmond Birdwing Butterfly FPP Pattern
This beautiful Richmond Birdwing butterfly, known by the scientific name ornithoptera richmondia, is found in New South Wales Australia. This pattern uses 4 colors and the final block will measure 18" wide by 12" tall. It uses 4 colors, a background color, black, green, and yellow. I thank Pablo Cocito for his photography skills photographing hundreds of butterflies for the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
